In about three weeks from now, Huawei at a special event in Paris, France will be unveiling the Huawei P20 series, which we know already would comprise of the base Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, and the Huawei P20 lite. All three variants have been involved in series of leaks over the last one month but today, we have some press photos of the handsets courtesy of Evan Blass.
These devices are obviously more or less the same device but with few differences both in design and internal makeup. The most notable difference is the actual design, as you can see from the renders, all three variants of the Huawei P20 gets the iPhone X-inspired top notches, with the P20 and P20 Lite having dual rear cameras, while the most premium of all – the Huawei P20 Pro will have not one, not two, but triple rear camera setup, and as per the render, all the variants will have their rear camera vertically aligned, which however contradicts Hiawei latest teaser video which revealed a horizontally alligned rear camera for one of the models.
Gizchina News of the week
It is also obvious from the renders that only the P20 lite will get a rear placed fingerprint sensor, while the P20 and P20 pro will both feature a fingerprint scanner below their display.
A couple of hours ago, we sighted some live photos of the Huawei P20 Lite in pink, Black, and blue colors. We already know a lot about the internal makeup and supposed prices of these devices, you can check them out here while we await the official confirmation from Huawei.
Time to upgrade from my P10 Plus DS!
Love the fingerprint/home button on the front and the very small notch!
Only ZTE with a proper Z9 successor incl. F.I.T. and NeoVision might keep me from getting one!
