Xiaomi has today released the MIUI 9.2.5.0 OTA update for users of the Redmi Note 5 pro that has one key change in it: a fix for the audio-related issue reported by users via its MIU community a couple of days back. The OTA (MIUI v9.2.5.0) update is currently rolling out to users of the device, but you can manually check the update via Settings > System updates option or by using the Updater app.
We reported a couple of days back that a significant number of the MIUI community users have complained that though their Redmi Note 5 Pro normal speaker volume is fine, once a headphone is connected to the 3.5mm jack, the volume drops to ambient levels.
