The Vivo V9 is all set for launch on the 27th of March in India, weeks before which real-life images have leaked throwing light on the complete design of the upcoming smartphone. The most distinguishing feature of the V9 is the notch. Seems like Vivo has planned to continue with this design methodology for a while.

The front houses a full-screen display with only the bottom having any sight of bezels. The notch on the top houses the front camera and other sensors. On the back is a vertically aligned dual camera setup coupled with a dedicated LED flash. Right above the logo, sits the fingerprint scanner. Antenna lines run on the top and bottom part of the back indicative of a metal back. On the right side sit the volume control and power buttons, while the sim card tray sits on the left. ON the bottom of the phone, the micro USB charging port is flanked by the 3.5mm headphone jack on the left and the speaker grill on the right. The pictured device is gold in color although there are reports that there will be a black and blue variant too. Watch this space for more!
