Make room mid-rangers, here comes the Honor View 10
Honor’s smartphones are a bunch of pretty successful devices, even outside of China. One of their main draws is their flagship devices, which never seem to disappoint. The latest of the bunch is the Honor View 10, a fantastic combination of specs and premium design. This lovely device is now on its way to the USA, with the 10 going for pre-order on HiHonor.com.
While the device itself isn’t really anything special, it’s got some pretty solid specs all around. There’s a Kirin 970 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage under the hood. Paired with that, we’ve got a nice 5.99-inch 1080×2160 display and the popular 16MP + 20MP dual camera setup. Also worth noting are the 13MP front facing camera and 3750mAh battery, which are pretty good.
Gizchina News of the week
Overall, the Honor View 10 is an extremely good choice for a device on a budget. It’s got good build quality, great specs and nice looks, so what’s the problem exactly? Well, it’s the price tag that they’ve put on the smartphone that’s the main issue, though it’s admittedly small. The phone will set you back at a $500.
Overall, that’s really pretty good for what you’re getting, though we guess it could be cheaper. But then, that’s true for many other devices, some of which aren’t even close to the View 10. The main downside is that it’s dangerously close to the stellar OnePlus 5, though that’s still not much of a con.
Those of you in the USA, what do you think about the brand new Honor View 10? Does it look like a device that might interest you into switching, or would you rather have something else? Tell us down in the comments section below.
