The VIVO V9, one of the upcoming smartphones from VIVO, will officially debut on March 27. Only a few hours ago, we saw some photos which revealed the VIVO V9 in all its glory, and today, thanks to a recent leak from out of China, we have a couple of real-life photos of the device with an early look at what the retail box might be.
Information extracted from the leaked retail box (shown below) indicate that the company would be one of the major sponsors of the Russia 2018 Worldcup, as suggested by the World Cup Russia 2018 logo and the “official smartphone” inscription sitting next to the VIVO branding. For the VIVO V9, the company will continue with the latest design trend which features a small notch on the display top, and what we know so far is that the VIVO V9 will house a 24MP camera inside the display notch and VIVO seems to have confirmed the fact that the device will indeed be a camera focused one as indicated by the “Perfect Shot, Perfect View” tagline on the retail box.

Away from the retail box, leaked images of the device itself confirm the display notch which is, however, not visible when the display is turned off.
No official specs for the phone have been revealed at the moment, but the rumor mill has churned out quite a lot of them. The device according to unofficial sources will have a Snapdragon 660, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of memory, a 2160 x 1080 6.0″ AMOLED display and a 3250mAh battery. The rear is said to house a 12MP + 8MP-megapixel combo, while a 24-megapixel selfie cam will sit inside the display notch.
Interestingly, an official teaser video from VIVO Indonesia confirms that the VIVO V9 will have a full view display with a notch, a 24MP selfie camera, a rear fingerprint sensor and of course a dual rear camera.
