Samsung’s after sales support has received a huge boost in the US today by a tie-up with repair chain uBreakiFix. The new deal with the uBreakiFix will reportedly provide Samsung phone users the luxury of same day repairs. This should be a big incentive for people to buy Samsung phones. However, not all smartphones from Samsung come under the deal. Currently, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note line will be eligible for these repair services. That too, going back to the Galaxy S9 and Note 5.

The way to do it is simple. You can simply call one of UbreakiFix’s 300 local stores near you and get an appointment. 200 more will be added under Samsung Care soon. The partnership covers basic repair scenarios like cracked screens, rear glass damage, faulty ports, worn-out batteries and issues with the cameras. Most of this should be handled in a day. For tricky repairs, it will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
An important aspect of the partnership is how the repairs will be performed. According to the press release, UBreakiFix is certified by Samsung to perform repairs as Samsung Care does. This should provide further peace of mind to Samsung customers.
