Xiaomi’s Mi-series devices will be out soon. Before that happens we can feast our eyes on the Redmi line devices. As you know, the Chinese Apple has brought the full-screen design to the mid-range market. And as we are dealing with Redmi line models, it’s reasonable why they cost too less. But Xiaomi has decided to outrun all of its competitors. That’s why it is actively conquering multiple markets. The next destination is Mexico. Today two new smartphones in face of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A were launched in Mexico.

Its sibling, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A adopts a symmetrical design. We mean the sensors and keys are placed on both sides of the axis with the same layout. The body weight is 150 grams because of a plastic material. But thanks to various processes it looks like identical to the metal bodies. There are two color options including the platinum silver gray and champagne gold.
As for hardware, the Redmi Note 5A sports a 5.5-inch 720P display, Snapdragon 425 chip, 2GB RAM, 16GB of native storage, 5MP, and 13MP camera modules, and a 3080mAh battery.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus with a 3+32GB memory option is offered at 4599 Mexican Peso ($247), while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with a 2+16GB memory combination is available at 3499 Mexican Peso ($188). Both models will go on sale on March 23.
