All set for a 27th of March release, the Huawei P20 series have already been revealed via leaks and reports. As of today, the official launch video of the P20 Lite has been reported earlier than its launch.
Gizchina News of the week
The video focuses on the myriad amount of features that the P20 Lite is going to bring to the table starting with a Full View Display 2.0 which will have FHD+ resolution and wide color gamut. The back is made of 2.5D glass with glitter cover film, which is what gives the back a shiny color. On the back is a dual camera setup and the fingerprint scanner takes its place there too. It has, what Huawei calls “Metal Frame with Parallel Orbits Design” which is beyond my understanding (seriously, phone makers need to be smarter with the nomenclature and tag lines). Next, it focuses on the front camera which has “Light Fusion Portrait”, showcasing the superior quality of selfies in low light. The dual camera is a combination of a 16MP and a 2MP snapper with the ability to snap pictures and focus on the subject later. The battery features Huawei’s Fast Charge 2.0.
The phone features Android Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It is reported to come with the Kirin 659 chipset.
