We have only a couple of hours before Meizu officially takes the wrap of the much-rumored Meizu E3. The device has been touted as the real rival to the recently launched Redmi Note 5, and while we have seen quite a lot of leaked images of the device in the past, a few other real live images, specs info as well as its retail price have just surfaced on the web.
This isn’t the first time the device has surfaced in life images, but this latest one corroborates a few other leaks and also gives us a clear look at the phone’s design thus far.
Gizchina News of the week
As you can see from the images below, the Meizu E3 doesn’t seem to house a fingerprint sensor on either side. Should we then be expecting an in-display fingerprint sensor? no, the device fingerprint is located on the side similar to that of the Meizu M6S, probably embedded on a dedicated button or on the power button. The leaked images also cement previous reports that suggested a vertically placed dual rear camera with a somewhat protruded lens.
The latest bit of leaks has it that the Meizu E3 will be fueled by the same SoC fueling the recently unveiled Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 – the Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM.
The Meizu E3 will feature a 5.99-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display and will be powered by a 3000mAh battery with 20w fast charging technology.
The main variant of the Meizu E3 will retail at 1499 yuan, while the 128GB variant will go for 1799 yuan. The Meizu E3 is expected to debut tomorrow alongside the rumored Meizu E3 Kumamoto Bear Custom Edition.
