Previously, we have heard Smartisan is going to release a new phone in March. Later it became known the new device will be the Smartisan Nuts 2 rather than the Smartisan T3. The former has leaked on a photo and we have learned some key features it will come with. Today, a completely new spot appeared on the net confusing us. According to it, the upcoming Smartisan model will be unleashed next month, on April 9. Still no guess whether it will be the Smartisan Nuts 2 or another device we haven’t heard yet, but the phone is codenamed as Smartisan Oscar.
According to the previous leaks, the Smartisan Oscar (aka Smartisan Nuts 2) will be rivaling to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, which has been announced recently. Today, another handset in face of the Lenovo S5 was launched that is going to make a tough competition to the Xiaomi mid-ranger as well. And if taking into account the Meizu E3 that should hit the market soon, we can say the Redmi Note 5 will see difficult times.
