Yesterday, on March 20, a new full-screen smartphone in face of the Lenovo S5 was announced. Initially, it’s been available at Jingdong at a starting price of 999 yuan ($158). Today it became known the booking volume has exceeded 250.000. So we should state the S5 is going to become a bestseller, as it took less than 24 hours to reach this number.
In last few days, there were announced a few full-screen devices such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Lenovo S5, Huawei Nova 3e, and the Meizu E3. What’s interesting, all of them are aiming at the same customers. And though the leader in this niche is the Redmi Note 5, we have had predictions the Lenovo S5 will make a tough competition to that handset. Now it turns out our predictions are turning into reality.

i dont know what lenovo’s software/OS is like these days, but i used a K3 Note few years back & it was utter garbage OS, & that reason alone would put me off this one
While it’s not as bloated as VibeUI used to be and they have gone closer to a stock android feel (I blame Motorola for that) for many of their phones, this phone uses ZUK’s ZUI OS which is a hit-or-miss.
yeah VibeUI was really bad, ive used a few different OS, EMUI, MIUI, HTC Sense, FLYME, Nubia UI etc and i can honestly say VibeUI nearly put me off android phones!
