Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is constantly expanding its tentacles to more foreign countries and it appears that Europe is its next focal point. Late last year, the company made a grand entry into Spain which is the first ever European country that Xiaomi is exploring. Now, Xiaomi has officially landed in neighbouring Portugal and it is currently its products through Worten, Fnac and Media Markt.

As of now, not all Xiaomi smartphones are available in Portugal but you can find Xiaomi Mi A1, Mi MIX 2, Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 4X, Redmi 5A, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi Note 5A Prime, and Redmi Note 4. All Xiaomi’s devices sold in Portugal will a 2-year warranty service in accordance with EU regulations, and the selling price is basically consistent with Xiaomi’s price in other EU countries.
At present, Xiaomi has a huge fanbase in the foreign market. According to the third quarter of 2017 smartphone market report released by IDC, Xiaomi surpassed Samsung in the Indian market to become the first smartphone brand with a share of 23.5% and a growth rate of 270%, making it the fastest growing mobile phone brand in India.
