Samsung Investigating Reports of Galaxy S9/S9+ Touchscreen Issues

For the past few days, there have been growing reports of dead spots or slow touch response zones on the Galaxy S9/S9+ screen. Now, the Korean manufacturing giant has said that it is looking into the issue but only a small number of reports are coming in. However, the company advises that any user with this issue should contact the company directly. The company said

“At Samsung, customer satisfaction is core to our business and we aim to deliver the best possible experience. We are looking into a limited number of reports of Galaxy S9/S9+ touchscreen responsiveness issues. We are working with affected customers and investigating. We encourage any customer with questions to contact us directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG,”

According to users report, it is hard to pinpoint the particular region of the screen that is usually affected. While some users said that the lower screen is mostly affected, others claim that the dead spots affect certain keys of the virtual keyboards. As of now, it seems that Samsung is immediately replacing the defective units thus all affected users are advised to contact the company. This is probably more of a hardware issue thus replacing the phone or at least the screen could be the only option.
