Today, on March 26, Nanchang Black Shark Technology Co. Ltd published a poster and officially confirmed the world’s first real gaming smartphone is in works and it will be packed with the latest creation of Qualcomm. As you know, Xiaomi has invested a lot in this company. So not accidentally, many call it the Xiaomi Blackshark.

Recently, the manufacturer signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Jingdong on the online promotion and sales of the Blackshark gaming mobile phone in the Jingdong Mall. Before that, we have seen a mysterious phone codenamed as տհե Blackshark leaked on GeekBench and AnTuTu. The benchmark results hinted at the Snapdragon 845, but there has been no official confirmation of that. As for today, the company not only confirmed it will be packed with the Snapdragon 845, we also heard the phone may debut tomorrow along with the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S and a mini AI speaker.

The selling point of the Xiaomi Blackshark is going to be the Snapdragon 845 chip, which is considered to be the most powerful mobile SoC in the world. It is based on the second-gen 10nm process technology and uses a built-in Kryo 385 architecture. The CPU frequency is up to 2.8GHz. To provide an excellent graphics experience, it comes with the latest Adreno 630 GPU. The SoC also supports dual-channel LPDDR4X memory and the peak download rate of 1.2Gbps, while the upload speed can reach 150Mbps.

According to the leaked screenshots, the Xiaomi Blackshark (the model of SKR-A0) comes with the mentioned chip, an 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 8.0. In terms of experience, the Blackshark gaming phone will make a targeted optimization and adjustments to the game scene to meet the needs of gamers.
