Two days ago, Chinese smartphone manufacturing giant, Huawei, announced at least four smartphones including such as Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design and Huawei Y7 Prime (2018). While the P20 and P20 Pro are flagship models, the Y7 Prime (2018) is an affordable mid-range smartphone. Now, the company has just released the expected Huawei Enjoy 8, Enjoy 8 Plus and Enjoy 8e. This means that Huawei has unveiled seven smartphones in two days and this has drawn concerns from smartphone enthusiasts. Some people feel that Huawei is simply more interested in offloading these devices without proper consideration of their relevance.
Looking at the details of Huawei Enjoy 8, it is a mid-range smartphone which sells for 1299 Yuan ($207). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage but there is also the 3GB+32GB version. The internal memory of this smartphone can be expanded up to 256GB and it comes with a dual SIM setup. It is equipped with a 5.99-inch full screen sporting the recently popular 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a body thickness of 7.8mm and weighs about 155g. As of now, this smartphone is available in gold, black, and blue colour options.
The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro recently released has its major selling point in its camera department but the Enjoy 8 looks quite normal in that regard. It sports an 8MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture and support for 10 beauty while the rear has a horizontally arranged dual camera setup with a 13MP+20MP configuration which also has an aperture of F/2.0 but supports portrait mode and can shoot prominent subjects and blurred backgrounds.
