PCs are great but – unlike laptops – they are very variegated and differ a lot from one another. Because of that, you often don’t have all the ports you need to connect them to a specific device. As you might have read in the title, in this post we’re going to check out a PCI-Express Card that will add two USB Type-C port to your PC; keep reading to learn more!
The dodocool DC26 is PCI-express card that features two USB Type-C ports supporting the SuperSpeed USB 3.1 standard. That means it can transfer data at up to 10Gbps, which is twice as fast as USB 3.0, and 20 times faster than USB 2.0.
The Type-C connector is obviously reversible, so it doesn’t matter in which side you plug the cable, it’ll always work. Through the 15-pin SATA power connector on the board, you also get enough power to run USB-C devices with up to 5V 900mAh output on each USB 3.1 port.
The PCI-Express board works with any PCIe x4, PCIe x8 and PCIe x16 slo and it’s backward compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.
