Forget the screen notch, Apple omitted the physical “home” button from the 11th anniversary iPhone X, you can only unlock the device via the facial recognition technology and the finger-swiping for easy navigate, multitasking, adjust settings, and access all the things you do most.
Well, if you are one of those iPhone traditionalists who just can’t do without the physical home button at the bottom of their phones, we have some good news for you, as Apple has now announced the arrival of an iPhone X home button add-on integrated with Touch ID that makes it easy for you to get into your device instead of using the facial recognition technology.
Gizchina News of the week
Made entirely out of a polycarbonate frame, the iPhone X home button add-on is about the size of the 4th gen iPod Shuffle measuring 29 mm × 30 mm × 3.9 mm (1.1 in × 1.18 in × 0.1 in). The little mode incorporates an all glass home button, a dedicated lightning port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The mod, when slotted into your iPhone X Lightning port, brings back the physical home button as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can perform those old functions of the home button including listening to music while the phone is been charged, long pressing for Siri, double-pressing for multitasking and many more.
The iPhone X home button add-on is compatible only with iOS 11.3 and should be available to buy via Apple stores from May 2018 at $69.99.
