The long-rumored Nokia 9 flagship from HMD was conspicuously absent at the MWC 2018 held in Barcelona, but murmurs still suggest the device is in the offing and may arrive later in the year. Though HMD global hasn’t confirmed the existence or not of the Nokia 9, a source from China claims to have received some first-hand information regarding the Nokia 9 flagship.
First off, the device which is expected to be made of ceramic back with 18-carat gold finishing isn’t expected to deviate much from the Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 Sirocco in terms of design, and as per the information contained in a file sent to suomimobiili, the Nokia 9 will be the true successor to the Nokia 808 and Nokia Lumia 1020 phones and will feature triple rear cameras made in partnership with ZEISS. Much like the Huawei p20 triple rear camera, the Nokia 9 rear camera from the leaked images below will be stacked vertically, but in a central location.
The three cameras on the back of the device consist of a 41 megapixels, 20 megapixels RGB sensors as well as a 9.9megapixels monochrome sensor. We are not sure how the camera works, but the triple camera should come with features such as optical image stabilization, 4x optical zoom, and the familiar Bothie feature.
