From our last week poll, 67% our voters think that the US government should not stop Huawei from selling its devices in the country while 25% will rather stay off the issue because they think that both parties know exactly what is going on. However, 8% think that the US government is doing the right thing.
In the years past, rooting a smartphone was a very common and popular thing and some users still root their Android smartphones until today. There are tons of reasons which will force you to root your Android phone. Rooting takes care of carrier bloatware, create backups, overclock or underclock your device, and much more. Smartphones are also rooted to make it compatible with certain mobile payment and banking apps. A rooted Galaxy S8 Bixby button will open Google Assistant without the need for a separate app. Personally, the first time I rooted an Android phone was because I needed to use a cheap internet data plan that was reserved for Blackberry users.

However, the progress and development of the Android operating system, as well as the good job by most OEMs, now ensures that there is little or no reason to root an Android phone. Some features which were only accessible by rooting a smartphone are now available directly with these phones. Android skins now come with built-in theming engines which is certainly a plus.
