While most smartphone manufacturers appear to believe that the top notch is an hot trend to follow, other phone makers – thankfully – understand that it’s not what users actually want.
If we had to name a few feature we’d rather have on a smartphone they would probably be: 18:9 display aspect ratio, Face ID to unlock your phone when unable to scan your fingerprint and the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Most flagship phones nowadays come with these features, along with hefty price tags, but it doesn’t have to be like this. The upcoming Koolnee K3 is indeed set to change that, coming with the perks we need at a price we can afford.
Koolnee is a relatively new company in the smartphone industry, yet they seem to have realized that users don’t always want the latest gimmicks, but devices with some of the newest features, nice design and an affordable price.
Gizchina News of the week
In the latest teaser released by Koolnee we can have a look at what the K3 will be packing. Little spoiler: 18:9 display aspect ratio and wireless charging as well as the newest generation of Face Unlock technology which features tailor-made face recognition algorithms.
Check out the first teaser video below:
So, it’s safe to say that the K3 follows a different philosophy compared to the original K1. The latter did indeed focus on bringing a flagship looking and feeling device to the masses, meanwhile the new K3 will be packing the newest tech without breaking the bank. That does’t mean it’ll look bad though, as we saw in the video.
