OPPO A3 Appears On Geekbench & TENAA With Helio P60 SoC

OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition

Chinese manufacturer, Oppo, is expected to unveil its new mid-range smartphone (OPPO A3) soon and the rumor mill has already unleashed some information regarding this device. This smartphone recently made an appearance on TENAA and Geekbench. From the exposure, it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, the newest mid-range processor from MediaTek.

From the TENAA listing, the Oppo A3 will be equipped with a 6.2-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution. It will have 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage. In the camera department, Oppo A3 does not come with the trending dual camera setup as it has a single 16MP rear shooter supported by an 8MP selfie camera.

Interestingly, there is no fingerprint scanner on this device which suggests that Oppo has some sort of plan, probably a face unlock system. The lights of this device will be kept on by a 330mAh battery. As of now, rumors have it that this smartphone should cost about $320.
