Yesterday, LG sent out invites for the LG G7 ThinQ unveiling that will happen on the 2nd of May, about a week from now. The invite is pretty straight forward, with little or no mystery to it. It states the main feature of the event as the G7 ThinQ although LG seems to have something big in store for us.
Yesterday the G7 ThinQ made an appearance revealing its whole and sole design. The G7 ThinQ will be succeeding the LG G6 that was unveiled last year. The G7 ThinQ will feature a full screen display with a metal body. An iPhone X like notch will sit on the top of the display which will house the earpiece alongside the front camera and other sensors. The fingerprint scanner sits below the dual camera setup on the back. Apart from the volume and power buttons there sits a fourth physical button that is probably equipped to handle an AI assistant. LG’s home-grown AI? Can’t say anything for sure.
Gizchina News of the week
The G7 ThinQ is tipped to come with a 6-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery. These are specs that have been aggregated from leaks and rumors, so take them with a pinch of salt.
