Xiaomi Releases The Mi Rabbit Remote Control Drone For 399 Yuan ($64)


In preparation for the forthcoming children’s day, Xiaomi has released the Mi rabbit remote-controlled drone which is specially designed for children. The Mi rabbit remote control drone wheelbase is 11cm and it weighs only 88 grams (lighter than smartphones) thus carrying it is not a problem. This device integrates a unique frame structure design considering the light weight of the fuselage. The body is made of modified PP plastic material with low density and high toughness, which is more resistant to falling and it’s safer. The propeller blades are made of glass fiber which is durable and hard to break.

 

The Mi rabbit remote control drone is equipped with a quad-core 1.2GHz SoC master chip which can quickly process data and comprises an ultrasonic, pressure gauge, and optical flow sensor. The body design coupled with the hardware ensures that it can achieve an accurate fixed height, fixed point hovering, stable flight and precise landing. Furthermore, it uses a large bandwidth, low delay, anti-interference ability, 5.8GHz high-frequency signal, Wi-Fi, and a remote control distance of up to 50 meters. The maximum flying height of up to 25 meters and it can carry FPV and HD image transmission.

It supports 720P HD video and 1600 x 1200 resolution image aerial photography with built-in 4GB internal storage. With a removable 920mAh battery, this device can be used for up to 10 minutes.

 

Mi rabbit remote control drone also has a headless mode, gravity sensing, palm take off, four-way rolling and other advanced modes. In order to get a better control experience, users can also use a variety of third-party Bluetooth handles to control the drone which allows you to fly professionally.

Interestingly, the Mi rabbit remote control drone comes with a 399 Yuan ($64) price tag and it will be available on Mi Mall from April 26. Jingdong, Tmall, and Suning will also have this product.
