Well over a year after announcing their first collabo smartphone – the Cool 1 dual, LeEco and Coolpad are back again with a refresh of their first product dubbed the Coolpad cool 2. While the ‘Cool’ is a jointly owned brand name, we are however not sure if LeEco is involved in the launch of the Coolpad 2 as the LeEco as been embroiled in a serious financial mess.
The Coolpad cool 2 is made of a metal unibody design with a waterproof body, though we are not sure what that means, whether it is water resistant or fully waterproof still remains unclear.
Adopting the bezel-less trend, the CoolPad Cool 2 features a 5.7-inch display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution, an aspect ratio of 18:9, and relatively thick bezels on all four sides. The device has rounded corners around the display and relies on on-screen buttons for navigation. On the reverse side, the device houses an iPhone X-like vertically aligned dual with a LED flash in between, while a fingerprint sensor with the Cool branding is also visible down the rear cover. The dual rear camera consists of a 13MP and 0.3MP sensors, while an 8MP sensor with face unlock feature sits above the display for selfies.

Yay LeEco isn’t dead yet
Good to know that LeEco isn’t dead yet. My only problem with them is the lack of updates to their smartphones.
A good looking devices, hopefully leeco is back in the business.
