Gizchina News of the week
Although the Nokia X is there, bright for everyone eyes, the smartphone is locked and no one can peek its features and specifications. Everything we know is that the smartphone is about to adopt one of the most recent loved and hated design languages of the industry, the display’s top notch.
The HMD official invitation sent to media doesn’t carry the Nokia X on it. Instead, we have the view of a road junction forming an “X” in the center, also the invitation has a top cutout that resembles the so-called Notch, and finally a tall proportion that could be associated to the expected 19:9 screen proportion.
Curiously, the May 16 scheduled date coincides with the European unveiling of the OnePlus 6. Taking the same date is an attempt to steal all the show of its rival, this isn’t something new among Chinese manufacturers, and HMD seems to be seriously preparing the Nokia X to rival with the competition.
