Xiaomi teases new product launch for May 10, Redmi S2 in tow

Xiaomi has two more products: the Mi 7 and Redmi S2 that are due to be unveiled soon. We have heard a lot about both devices in the last couple of weeks, and just yesterday, the company via its Weibo released a teaser image with just the letter ‘S’ on it, hinting at a Redmi S2 launch.

The company has today released yet another Weibo teaser mage with the ‘Suprise’ on it, but like yesterday’s teaser, the letter ‘S’ stands out, further fueling speculations that the device being teased is the upcoming Redmi S2.

Aside from the teaser poster, there is a caption that says Hello, @ Suning Tesco! We will meet on May 10. What is evident from here is that the product been teased will debut on May 10 and will be exclusive to SuninTesco in China.

After 2016 mimix lunch xiaomi has gone on a wrong spree lunching a flurry of devices facing poor sales of each. No longer mi is innovative, devices have become costlier but most importantly it’s not generating speculation or enthusiasm as with mi3 or mi4. Copying apple and Samsung in design and killing devices like mi note , hoping to catch up in camera tech, removing audio features as hires Dac and yet achieving nothing
