A Moto Z3 Play render has leaked and we have veteran leakster @evleaks to thank for it. Till now we have had a good deal of leaks and pretty much know every design aspect of the Z3 Play. This render is in a color that has not been used by Moto in any of their previous smartphones. Not just that, the render also throws light upon the mic array that sits at the bottom and back of the phone.
Motorola’s adaptive display and voice control is one of the best things that could happen to Moto smartphones. The microphone array on the bottom seems to be made of three microphones, this allowing for better voice control in crowded environments or even from a large distance. An update to the already existing Moto Actions might be in tow.
Gizchina News of the week
The screen is significantly bigger and has noticeably thin bezels. The fingerprint scanner no longer sits on the chin of the phone. It has been moved to the right side of the Z3 Play. There is a physical button the left side of the frame which is either the power or a dedicated Google Assistant button. The back is made of glass and features a dual camera setup. The pogo pins for Moto Mods are still there. The USB Type C port sits at the bottom and 3.5mm jack is no more present.
If reports are to be believed, the Moto Z3 Play will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/32GB of on board storage. It will sport a 5MP snapper up front and a 12MP+8MP combo on the back. A 3000mAh battery is expected to power the Z3 Play. Motorola has been tight lipped about the phone, but expect it to show up anytime in the coming months.
