There are too many Chinese smartphone markers. But not all of them are popular. This doesn’t mean they have nothing worthy to offer. Vice versa, most of their flagships are overshadowed by the top brands. But if looking for attentively, we can find many attractive devices. One of them is the Haier L8. It’s been announced just recently at a price tag of 1399 yuan ($220).
The phone uses an aviation-grade aluminum. To provide a delicate and smooth touch experience, the surface passes through an anodizing process. Plus, a precision #170 ceramic sand is used for 360-degree annular high-speed sandblasting.

On the front, the Haier L8 carries a 5.99-inch full-screen covered with a 2.5D arc glass. The back uses the same curved design to provide the best grip experience. There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel as well.
In terms of configuration, the Haier L8 is packed with a Snapdragon octa-core chip paired with a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 4000mAh capacity battery supporting 9V/2A fast charge technology. Moreover, thanks to the Haier intelligent power-saving technology it will provide way longer life.
The dual-camera on the back uses a 12MP sensor with a 1.25um large pixel area, while the secondary sensor sports a resolution of 2MP. The latter is used to adjust the depth of field, supports 0.3 seconds PDAF, and a fast zoom. The front-facing camera is not that attractive, as it comes with a 3MP sensor. But it supports for soft light self-timer and beauty options as well.
The pre-sale of the Haier L8 will start on May 14.
