In a long series of conflicting leaks, some new renders of the iPhone SE 2 have leaked today. The renders once again provide a twist in the design story of the handset. So far, there have been conflicting evidences regarding the looks. While some have tipped the handset to feature the old retro look of the iPhone SE, other reports suggest a drastic makeover. This new one from UK case maker Olixar hits at the latter.
The renders show a miniature iPhone X with a rather big rear camera lens. The company has also now put up cases of the handset on its Mobile Fun website. They come in Blue, Purple, Solid Gloss Black colour. Besides, the design, the handset will also likely carry wireless charging because of a glass back.
Gizchina News of the week
Even though cases are up for pre-order, the latest report suggests that Apple has not confirmed the design of the handset. This makes the renders from Olixar rather dubious. This also means that a Q2 launch is out of the question. The best we can hope for now is Q3 along with other iPhones. Several accesories makers at Japan IT Week Spring Mobile Solutions Expo said that Apple is yet to kick off production of the iPhone SE 2.
When it does launch though, it will be the cheapest of all Apple iPhones this year. The original iPhone SE was a huge success in India and Apple could repeat the success this year with the right choices.
