The Lenovo Z5 is shaping up to be a game changer in more than one ways. When the company VP stated that they’ve baked in around 18 patented technologies, we knew it was going to be something good. But just hear this out. Lenovo just officially said that the Z5 will feature 4TB of storage. Now let that sink in. When is the last time you used a 1TB smartphone? It might be a bit difficult to remember, but for me its never.
Now, we’re not talking about the kind of tech Lenovo might have used here. But consider you have 4TB of storage on your smartphone, would you even use so much. This phone would be an external hard disk for all intents and purposes. Given that the intake of data has increased a lot these days but still 4TB still seems overkill. Lenovo, on the other hand, seems hell-bent on grabbing headlines. Smartisans launched the Nut R1 yesterday with 1TB of onboard storage, and the Lenovo Z5 will completely overshadow it with this achievement.
Gizchina News of the week
Besides this new revelation, the handset is also set to be a stunner. We can’t wait to see how Lenovo handles the selfie camera with such a thin bezel screen. The official sketch has shown the handset not to be possessing a notch which is even more interesting. Furthermore, it could feature an Helio P60 or a Snapdragon 845. This is yet to be confirmed. We’re expecting many interesting leaks in coming days regarding the upcoming handset so stay tuned.
The Lenovo Z5 is slated to launch on June 14.
