We are just a few days away from the official unveiling of the HTC flagship device that is expected to contend with the likes of the G7 ThinQ, the Galaxy S9 duo, the latest OnePlus 6 and even the upcoming Mi 7. We are referring to the HTC U12+, and like we all know, the leaks won’t stop popping in until it finally official.
While the device hasn’t been so much of a visitor to the rumor mill, we do know a few things about the device before now, but the entire specifications and official-looking renders of the HTC U12+ have just been revealed by reliable leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks).
From an external design standpoint, the upcoming HTC U12+ somewhat looks like last years’ flagship LG V30 and G6, though looks attractive and lacks the copycat notch above its display. Measuring 156.6×73.9×8.7-9.7mm2, the device adopts the Liquid Surface design, with a cool looking curved glass back fitted with dual camera setup in horizontal alignment with a fingerprint sensor and a LED flash below it. While the device is said to be IP68 certified, the specs sheet also mentions that the device will feature a “new pressure-sensitive buttons” and an updated version of HTC’s Edge Sense 2.
