All roads lead to Brazil – the same location where the company unveiled the Moto G6 for a new product launch in June. While the launch event is widely expected to birth the long-rumoured Moto Z3 play, a new leak from China suggests a fresh variant of the Moto G6 family is underway.

A couple of live images available to the guys at 91mobiles in fairly high resolutions suggest a variant of the Moto G6 plus different from the G6 plus that was announced a while back is in the making. The images seen below show what appears to be the settings of the Moto G6 plus with a few of its specs. One of the images shows the device is powered by the SD 660 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage as opposed to the 4GB RAM and SD 630 on the Moto G6 plus launched a while back.

Gizchina News of the week

If the leak is what we think it is, then it means a Moto G6 plus powered by the SD 660 with 6GB of RAM might soon hit the shelves, giving users a wider range of options to choose. Motorola is yet to throw its weight behind the existence of an upgraded Moto G6 plus with the SD 660, if  however, the device exists, it is expected to spot similar internals with the regular Moto G6 plus, and that includes a Max vision 5.9-inch, 18:9 display with virtually no bezel, and a dual smart camera suitable for clicking great photos  in any lighting conditions.
