A couple weeks back we reported that Chinese phone maker – Vivo – was going to release a Vivo X21 special edition in occasion of the FIFA World Cup that is scheduled to be hold in Russia, kicking off on June 14th. Well, the smartphone is now official with a price tag of 3698 (around $578); let’s learn more about it!
For those who aren’t in the loop with Vivo phones, the latest X21 is one of their best-selling phones, and that’s why it’s been selected to represent the company throughout the world cup.

What’s special about this variant of the Vivo X21 is the use of a four-dimensional gradient printing technology, along with condensed precision optical technology and 3D glass that embeds the 2018’s FIFA World Cup official logo.
Captivating design aside, the X21 packs the same hardware of its plain variants, going from the large 6.28 inches 2280 × 1080 display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, all powered by a 3200mAh capacity battery.
Other specs include a front 12MP camera sensor for stunning selfies coupled with Ai beautify technology, and a rear 12MP+5MP dual-camera combo to snap photos with a shallow depth of field (bokeh effect), dual-core focusing technology and increased P3 color gamut.
The VIVO X21 FIFA World Cup Special Edition in its red variant will go on sale starting on June 1st.
