While the flagship 8th anniversary Xiaomi Mi 8 could be at the centre stage of Xiaomi May 31 launch event in China, information available right here suggest the company might unveil a mid-range phone alongside the series of products tipped to arrive on the said date.
Ahead of the unveiling event, a marketing material of a Xiaomi made Mi Note 5 has been spotted on Chinese social media, revealing some of the key specs and price. though the name and price of the device are deliberately not exposed, the leaked images confirm the Xiaomi Mi Note 5 could sell for as much as RMB 2,299 (~Rs 24,500).

The leaked material suggest the Mi Note 5 will come with a 5.9″ display with Full Screen 2.0 design – an indication it might have a thin bezel-less display that through the smartphone edges. A section of the image reveals the device might use the Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB RAM, while a 64GB of native storage. No mention was made of the camera configuration, it did however list a 4-axis optical stabilisation support onboard for the camera.
Aside from the aforementioned, the leaked marketing material doesn’t reveal anything else.
