Earlier this week, reports surfaced, saying TECNO Mobile, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings would be unveiling a selfie-focused smart soon. The firm has today announced the arrival of the Tecno Camon iCLICK, its latest selfie-focused camon series phone, and its first ever device to come with AI capabilities.
Encased in a premium metallic body with a 2.5D contoured glass at the rear, the Tecno Camon iCLICK flaunts a large 6-inch HD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 83.9 percent, slim side bezels and with a chunk of bezels below and above the display. Under the hood, the iCLICK uses a 2.0GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device is available only in 64GB storage option, which can further be expanded using a microSD card.

The highlight of the iCLICK obviously is its 20-megapixel f/2.0 selfie snapper with a dual-LED flash and an AI selfie technology that claims to reproduce customised beauty features based on different faces. The device comes fitted with a 16-megapixel rear camera with 4X flash support, f/1.8 aperture with other photo-enhancing features including AI Beauty, AI auto scene detection, AI bokeh, superpixel, and panorama mode.
The iCLICK is based on Android 8.1 Oreo with Tecno’s custom Hi OS, and should include a full host of connectivity options, including dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, The iClick gets a 3,750mAh battery with up to 420 hours of standby time, 30 hours calling, 23 hours battery life, 11 hours web browsing, 13 hours video playback and 9 hours gaming.
Priced at Rs 13,999, the Tecno iClick is available via major brick and mortar stores across India in Midnight Black and Champagne Gold Hue colour options. Buyers of the iClick are entitled to 100 days’ replacement warranty, one-time screen replacement, and one-month extended warranty.
