Gizchina News of the week
Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE along with a bunch of other products. One of which is rumoured to be the Mi Band 3, successor to the consumer favourite, Mi Band 2. Another one is the unveiling of the MIUI 10 which is also expected to happen tomorrow. The Mi 8 is rumoured to feature 3D structured lighting up front allowing for a face unlock similar to the iPhone X’s. The specs are expected to be no less than a flagship’s. Pre-order details that leaked earlier today revealed two variants of the Mi 8, which had a significant difference in the design. Rumours are rife that the Mi 8 will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. But judging from the previous reports, the Mi 8 might not get an in-display fingerprint scanner. Rather there might be an Mi 8 Plus which will sport the in-display fingerprint scanner. Very little is known about the same. All will be revealed when Xiaomi unveils their arsenal of devices and technology tomorrow in Shenzhen, China.
