Today, Xiaomi announced its annual flagship in face of the much-awaited Mi 8. It has become the world’s best Android smartphone immediately after its launch. What’s more interesting, Xiaomi grabs this title with no high-hat. Of course, many could not accept, but the Mi-series flagships provide the best performance if taking into account their price tags. On the other hand, if you want something with trendy and eye-catching features, there is another handset that is going to release on June 5. If you guess, we are talking about the Lenovo Z5. Today, Lenovo’s vice president Chang Cheng released a warm-up poster that made a huge stir around it.

At first sight, when looking at the Lenovo Z5’s poster, we may think the company wants us to focus on the rounded corners like the Mi 8. But take a look at it more attentively – there is no notch. We have heard the phone’s screen ratio will exceed 95%. But we’ve never thought the will be no forehead.

Gizchina News of the week

There is another version saying the poster may refer to the bottom side of the phone. That’s a possible version. If it is, the Lenovo Z5 will have no chin. But the previous leaks, especially the ones concerning the Z5’s renders show the device has a narrow chin.

Well, we have heard the Lenovo Z5 will sport a 4TB of storage, AI camera, great battery performance, and a gradient back panel like the Huawei P20. Undoubtedly, it will be packed with a flagship chip such as the Snapdragon 845, Snapdragon 710, Snapdragon 660 AIE, or even the MediaTek Helio P60. Plus, if it comes with a true full-screen design, we should expect some innovative technologies concerning the front camera and headphone. This simply means the upcoming Lenovo Z5 is targeting not only the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Huawei P20 but the VIVO NEX as well.

Vaporware. Will have a big chin. Or overpriced at $600. Take your pick.

as far as no NOT’ouch… it would be fine… CHIN’s a must for this device unless you have a Meizu PRO 7 style dual screen on the back.
