Huawei Nova Youth Edition Gets EMUI 8.0 Update

Today, Huawei EMUI took to its official Weibo handle to announce that the company is currently releasing the EMUI 8.0 based on Android Oreo to Huawei Nova Youth Edition. However, the user need to apply for the upgrade by going to mobile apps > member service > service > upgrade early adopters.

Please note that this EMUI 8.0 does not clear user data but it is recommended that you back up important data to an SD card, PC, or a cloud before upgrading. Ensure that these important contents are intact. The upgradeable EMUI 8.0 models include Huawei Nova Youth Edition Full Netcom Edition WAS-AL00, and Huawei Nova Youth Edition Mobile Netcom Customization Edition WAS-TL00.

It is also worth mentioning that before upgrading, please check whether the system version is above B240. If it is not on this version, please click “Settings” – “System Update” – “Check for Updates” to upgrade the phone to B240 version, then you can upgrade to EMUI 8.0.
