Xiaomi just recently released MIUI 10 at the launch event of the Mi 8 in Shenzhen. The new Android Oreo-based ROM will be soon rolling out to a number of Xiaomi devices. But which ones? Well, the company posted an update on its MIUI forums with the details of eligible devices. Do note that this is in relation to the Chinese ROM as the global ROM isn’t out yet. It is close though as Xiaomi India already teased it on its official handle.

First and foremost on the list are 10 devices that are already in the closed beta phase. Those include Mi 8, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix, Mi 6X, Mi 6, Mi 5, Mi Note 2, Redmi S2, and Redmi Note 5 smartphones. Public beta for the same will kick off in late June.
The other public beta phase starts in late July when below-mentioned devices will be added:
Mi Note 3, Mi 5X, Mi 5c, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi 4, Mi 4c, Mi 4S, Mi Max 2, Mi Max, Redmi 5, Redmi 5A, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4X, Redmi 3S/ Redmi 3X, Redmi Pro, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm/ Redmi Note 4X, Redmi Note 4 (MediaTek), and Redmi Note 3 (Qualcomm). This almost covers all the latest Xiaomi devices that the company has launched recently. Also, this is just the first beta list, the stable update will roll out to an even greater number of devices.
As for the global ROM, we’re expecting a debut on June 7th alongside the Redmi Y2 unveil. Stay tuned for that.
