Vivo’s revolutionary concept phone, the Apex, is now being called Vivo Nex is set for June 12 curtain raiser. The Vivo Nex is a refined version of the Apex that we were in awe of at the MWC this year. Most changes are in design as recently leaked images showed a more ergonomic design with rounded corners. Before its imminent debut, the handset has been noticed completing some legal formalities.
The Vivo Nex appeared on 3C China which is not a surprise considering it’s close to release. What is somewhat astonishing is that there are three variants that passed the regulatory agency. We’ve already heard of two models of the Vivo Nex. One of them being a true Apex phone with the Snapdragon 845. This one will come with all the bells and whistles. This one is supposed to be a full-fledged flagship. It would probably be called Vivo Nex. Another trimmed down model with Snapdragon 710 has also been reported. And as per TENAA, this is the Nex S. This one is supposed to skip the cool retractable selfie camera for some reason. It will be housed on the bottom chin. There might be other differences but these are the ones we’re aware of right now.

Vivo has already confirmed the Shanghai June 12 launch date for the awesome phone. The Vivo Nex, we know at least, won’t come cheap. Leaks showed a price of around 6,900 Yuan breaching the $1000 barrier.
