Lenovo Watch X is a mechanical timepiece with smart features


Lenovo launched three new smartphones today but there was also a smartwatch in store. Well, it isn’t a true smartwatch per se but it does have some smart features tossed in the mix. This mechanical watch is called Watch X and comes with features like water resistance and an OLED display. The Watch X is metallic and has a 600mAh battery and comes in two variants – Watch X & Watch X Explorer Edition. It has six sensors – a barometer, a blood pressure sensor, a heart rate sensor, a gyroscope, a gravity sensor, and a geomagnetic sensor. Two of these, the barometer and the blood pressure sensor are only on the Explorer edition. That is the only difference we could make out. Also, information is scarce regarding the hardware of the Watch X but we do know that it has 45 days of standby with normal use. Also, the watch has Bluetooth 5.0 LE but Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity is unknown.

The Watch X Milanese version costs 299 Yuan or Rs 3,100 approx. The leather strap variant of the same is worth 329 Yuan (around Rs. 3,400). Then the Explorer Edition Milanese variant costs 329 Yuan or 4,100 approx. while the Explorer Edition with leather strap costs 429 Yuan or Rs 4,500.
