Oppo Find X set for June 19 unveiling, invites out

Oppo Find X

Forget the much talked about Lenovo Z3, its notched variant, and the Bezel-free Vivo Nex/Apex, another largely popular brand out of China  – Oppo has been teasing a new flagship grade smartphone that will break cover later this Month. To this end, Oppo is now sending out press invites to the Global launch event of its upcoming OPPO Find X flagship phone to be held at The Louvre in Paris, France, on June 19.

The invite hasn’t revealed much, neither has there been much in the way of credible information on the phone out there. Dubbed the Oppo Find X, the upcoming flagship device is supposed to mark the rebirth of the Oppo Find series which was last updated with the Oppo Find 7 a couple of years ago.

Gizchina News of the week

There hasn’t been much information from the rumor mill as regard the FindX, however, the prevailing rumors are that the Oppo Find X does appear to be made of a glass-plated rear with a subtle square design pattern, with a dual camera setup, while the display front seems to have the same notch design we’ve seen on the Oppo F7 or Oppo R15.

The Oppo Find X is rumored to feature a 6.42-inch OLED bezel-free display with 2K resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio, with a different, render hinting that the device could have a variant with the notch. We expect to see the Find X come packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage,  4,000mAh battery equipped with Super VOOC charging, and of course a wireless charging.
