A few days ago, Chinese manufacturer, Huawei, release its recent flagship smartphone, Honor Play. Now, we have confirmation that the first official sale of this device will take place on June 11 by 10:08 am. The 4GB+64GB version is priced at 1999 Yuan ($313) while the 6GB+64GB is priced at 2,399Yuan ($375).
This is the first smartphone to sport Huawei’s new technology, GPU Turbo which has been a point of attraction in recent times. This tech is a soft-hardware collaborative graphics acceleration technology that opens up the processing bottleneck between the EMUI system, GPUs, and CPUs. It increases graphics efficiency by 60% and SoC performance by 30%. Although Huawei believes that this is a technology for the future, there are some sectors that believe that this is an over-hyped technology and it is only optimized for a few games.

Apart from its GPU Turbo compatibility, Honor Play is equally aa top-notch device. It uses an integrated metal body with a metal blasting process which gives it a delicate touch. It will be available in Illusion Black, Aurora Blue, Nebula Violet, Magic Night Black, Flame Cool Edition and other colour options.
Huawei Honor Play is a 6.3-inch full-screen smartphone which is powered by the Kirin 970 SoC built using a 10nm process. It runs on Huawei’s EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo system and its lights are kept on by a 3750 mAh battery. In addition, Honor Play is also equipped with 16MP+2MP AI dual camera on the rear and this setup can intelligently identify 22 types of photographic objects and 500+ scenes.
