Oppo Find X teasers have become a daily occurrence on the company’s official social media accounts. So, here we are with yet another one, this time it says “beyond taking for granted, exploring the future shape of the mobile phone. # OPPO future flagship Find X #” hinting that the upcoming OPPO Find X flagship will bring some never seen before design choices.
In the poster, the overlap of glass screens forms an “X” with the two X strokes representing art and technology. In mathematics, X stands for infinite possibilities, which is in line with the discovery spirit that the Find series has been adhering to.
That’s not all though; this morning, some netizens have unveiled OPPO’s latest full-screen patent. The front panel of the patented mobile phone is a screen, meanwhile the camera adopts a flip-type design. This cannot help but make us think of OPPO’s N series of rotary camera phones.
Gizchina News of the week
As a branch of the OPPO flagship series, the N series has not updated its products for many years. At that time, it took rotating cameras as the main selling point, emerged in the highly homogenized mobile phone market, and was widely acclaimed, leaving an indelible impression for users. The return of the Find series, if combined with the N series, will probably finally bring a true “full screen” device.
OPPO has always been unwilling to stand still in the form design of the Find series. The highlight of the OPPO Finder is its thin, 6.65mm body design, which is light and thin yet extremely textured. It was also the world’s thinnest smartphone. In order to ensure the sturdiness of the fuselage, the OPPO Finder adopted a double-layered Swiss Army Knife-grade stainless steel skeleton inside and outside.
Today, OPPO explores the shape of the future mobile phone with the flagship Find X. According to a recent official poster, OPPO Find X will adopt the industry-leading double-curved full screen design and an insanely high screen-to-body ratio.
Either way, on June 19th, the OPPO Find X will finally arrive and hopefully bring a truly never-seen-before full screen design. Possibly beating the recently unveiled Vivo NEX!
