Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Rear & Front Design Revealed In New Video/Image

It has been a long wait for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Whenever this tablet is mentioned, there is always a lot of enthusiasm because Mi fans cant wait to meet with this device. Most recently, this tab with model number M1807E8S scaled through 3C which suggests that this device might be coming soon. Now, a video and image of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 recently surfaced on Weibo. While the video reveals the rear panel, the image shows the front. The video seems to be captured during the manufacturing process of the Mi Max 3.

From the video, we can see that the rear panel seem to be molded from a metal material and it will have a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup. In addition, there is a rear fingerprint scanner on this tablet.

Gizchina News of the week

The image shows the huge display of the Mi Max 3 and some have speculated that this display may be as huge as 6.99-inch but this has not been verified. In addition, we see that it uses a tri-bezeless design which is actually Xiiaomi’s style until it recently broke that by using a notch in the Mi 8 series. On the top of the display, you can see a small allowance which is probably for the front camera. However, seeing that the bottom bezel is quite thick, there is a probability that the front camera can be placed on the bottom bezel like the Xiaomi Mi Mix. This information is not from an official source so it’s better to take it with a pinch of salt.

If the rumors are true (5500mah, 6.9″ screen, SD710…) Then this monster is going to make a lot of phablet lovers quite happy.

BTW: does anyone know the name of the Chinese music playing in that video above (factory video)?

Always liked the Mi Max 2, but put off by the SD625, which was already an ageing chip a year ago. If spec rumours are true (including NFC), this is my next phone.

Ha. It has a cutout on top for the ear speaker. So worse than the Nex at a higher price. Yeah, that will sell good.
