The Xiaomi Mi 8 – the Chinese giant 8th-anniversary smartphone announced a while back alongside a plethora of products is finally been rolled out to more countries. While the device was earlier tipped to go on sale outside of China in more about 8 other countries, information on when precisely that will happen, however, wasn’t available.
Now, the firm has announced the availability of the Xiaomi Mi 8 in more countries including France and Russia, while same is expected to expand to other markets like Egypt, Spain, India, Italy, Thailand, and Vietnam in the following weeks. This was made known by a ‘Super moderator’ on Xiaomi’s official online user forum who said the Mi 8 is now available outside of China. While the moderator’s post suggests the device is available in more than two countries, he however specifically mentioned Russia and France.

Although the device hasn’t been listed on the company’s online stores in Russia and France, there are indications it is already on sale through local retailers or through offline channels. As for pricing, the Moderator never made mention of the Mi 8 pricing in the countries concerned, we, however, expect that to be somewhat similar to the Chinese pricing.
