Oppo Find X India launch set for July 12, official invites out

The Oppo Find X Indian unveiling will likely take place about two weeks after its Global debut, the company has revealed. The company via an official invite has scheduled a launch event for July 12 in India. Though the invite doesn’t reveal a thing about what product will be launched, the subtle caption “Find what you have have been looking for until now” is a clear indication that the Find X might be the highlight of the event.

The device is all set to make a Global debut at a launch event in Paris later on today, and ahead of the launch, we have been treated to a lot of teasers from Official Oppo Social media channelsThe device is supposed to be the company’s flagship offering for the year and the successor to the Oppo Find 7 which was launched years back, and it appears it got all it takes to stand against the likes of the Galaxy S9, the LG G7 ThinQ, the Mi 8 from Xiaomi, the VIVO NEX, the Lenovo Z5 and even the Oneplus 6.

Gizchina News of the week

The device is expected to highlight a couple of trendy design features, plus some even newer tricks to churn out a device that is almost completely bezel-free. The Find X’s major selling point aside from the acclaimed 93% screen-to-body ratio is its camera system, which is expected to be a pop-up system like the VIVO NEX, but in a unique manner. Unlike the VIVO NEX, the Oppo Find X  pop-up camera system is expected to house both the rear, front-facing camera and the 3D facial scanning system.

The whole specs details, availability and pricing information will be revealed much later in the day when the device goes official.
