New Update Improves Asus ZenFone 5Z Camera Quality

Back at MWC 2018, Asus, a Taiwanese multinational computer and phone hardware, and electronics company launched it’s ZenFone 5 series. However, the company only started selling the Asus ZenFone 5Z this month. As of now, this smartphone is in parts of Europe, Japan and it will be available in India soon.

However, this smartphone is currently receiving its first update which comes with software version 80.11.37.53 based on Android Oreo. The Asus ZenFone 5Z comes with a dual rear camera setup which has a rear 12MP + 8MP configuration and an 8MP selfie shooter but it appears that this camera system needs this update the most as the changelog emphasizes the improvement on the camera quality. It also brings VoLTE services to Japan’s TWM carrier.

This update is rolling out OTA and as usual, it may take some time before all units get the download notification. Alternatively, you can access Settings > About phone > System update to check if this update is available for download manually. Since it is not a major update, you can be certain that the file size will not be significant.
