Xiaomi took to Weibo to announce the launch date of the Mi Pad 4. It will be launched in China on June 25th, just five days away alongside the Redmi 6 Pro. It will succeed the Mi Pad 3, which sadly, did not see an international launch.
According to reports, the Mi Pad 4 is expected to sport the same 7.9-inch LCD display that was found in the Pad 3 with Full HD resolution and a pixel density of 320PPI. Another report claims that the display will have an 18:9 aspect ratio which is unheard of in a tablet. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi goes about the design with such a display. According to the 3C certification, dual band WiFi and Bluetooth will be a part of the package along with 5V/2A 10W charging. So fast charging will be available. Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and a massive 6,000mAh battery is expected to power the Mi Pad 4.
Gizchina News of the week
The Mi Pad 4 will be the fourth in line in Xiaomi’s tablet segment. While the price is not known, expect it to not break the bank like other good tablets on the market. As far as an international launch is concerned, nothing can be said for certain since Xiaomi has not given any word about it. Crossing fingers for an international launch!
