The Xiaomi Redmi 6 and 6A will apparently hit the Indian market in the coming two months. The report is courtesy of folks at mysmartprice.com. The Redmi 6 and 6A were released on the 12th this month in China and will be followed by the Mi Pad 4 and Redmi 6 Pro on June 25.
Successors to the affordable Redmi 5 and 5A the Redmi 6 and 6A offer a good blend of features and price. Considering the fact that the Indian market has segments for all price ranges, the 6 and 6A would definitely bring in a lot of customers for Xiaomi. Given the popularity the Redmi series has garnered over the years, it is likely that this report is genuine.
Both the smartphones feature a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi 6 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage while the A22 powers the 6A with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The Redmi 6 sports a 12MP + 5MP dual camera on the back and a 5MP snapper up front. The Redmi 6A on the other hand sports a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. Unlike the Redmi 6, the 6A does not feature a fingerprint scanner. A 3000mAh battery is present in both the phones.
